What StockLabs is
StockLabs is an AI inventory app for industrial teams. You photograph a parts label, pallet tag, or packing slip, and StockLabs reads the SKUs, quantities, and costs into a live inventory count. You can then text StockBot from iMessage, Slack, or Teams and get answers from your live inventory.
StockLabs is built for industrial operators: parts rooms, yards, service trucks, mechanic and repair shops, and fleet and equipment crews. It is built around how that work happens, not for retail or e-commerce inventory.
StockBot is StockLabs’ assistant in the messaging apps your team already uses. Text it from iMessage, Slack, or Teams and it answers from your live inventory, with exact part numbers, quantities, and locations. It keeps the full history and pings you first when an item drops below its reorder point.
Photos and accuracy
You photograph a parts label, pallet tag, or packing slip. StockLabs runs OCR for the legible text and barcodes, then a vision model reasons over the image plus your known parts to read the SKU, quantity, and cost. Low-confidence reads are flagged for a one-screen review before anything is saved.
Yes. StockLabs pairs OCR with a vision model and a per-organization identity cache, so it reads part identity even when tags are faded, greasy, or damaged. Anything low-confidence is flagged for review rather than saved as a wrong record.
No. A phone-camera photo is enough. StockLabs also supports in-browser barcode and QR scanning and can generate labels for unlabeled parts, but photo extraction handles tags that barcodes cannot.
Yes. Confirmed corrections feed a per-organization identity cache, so reads on the parts you handle repeatedly get more accurate with use.
Security and your data
StockLabs uses your photos only to improve extraction accuracy for your own organization. Your data is not used to train models shared with other customers.
Every organization’s data is isolated at the database level with row-level security, enforced on every query. One customer can never see, query, or touch another customer’s inventory.
Yes. Data is encrypted in transit over HTTPS/TLS and at rest on disk, and your inventory is backed up daily so records can be restored if they are lost or corrupted.
StockLabs is built to SOC 2 controls and is aligning to further enterprise standards. We describe this as SOC 2 aligned rather than certified, because it is not a completed third-party SOC 2 audit.
Pricing
Pricing is scoped to your team size and usage on a short call rather than published here. Use the Let’s Talk button in the top-right corner to book time with the founder and we’ll walk you through it.
Integrations
QuickBooks Online and spreadsheets (Excel and CSV import and export) are live today. Other connectors across accounting, field ops, maintenance, and messaging are on the roadmap, and you can ask us to prioritize the ones your office runs.
Yes. The QuickBooks Online connector is live and pushes counts and costs to your books.
